Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee field operations for ground-up and renovation of commercial projects in Columbus, OH. You will manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include site inspections, progress tracking, and close collaboration with owners, design teams, and internal project groups to meet milestones and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, including Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent roles.
• 5+ years of commercial project experience preferred.
• Strong reading of drawings, specs, schedules, and building codes.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and keep projects on schedule.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar CM software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules to meet milestones
• Review schedules, budgets, drawings, and specs with the Project Manager
• Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, and progress
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite
• Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate expectations
• Identify and resolve field conflicts and scheduling issues
• Coordinate inspections with authorities and ensure codes compliance
• Manage punch-list, closeout, turnover
• Maintain daily reports and site records
• Build relationships with owners, subcontractors, design teams, and internal teams
