A leading company is seeking candidates for positions focused on the fabrication and production of highway signs. Responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal work and industrial safety, with the ability to handle various tasks associated with sign manufacturing.
2 positions available. One could be long term, the other will last until around October / November. The long-term candidate will be determined during the contract period.
These duties are illustrative only. Incumbents may perform some or all of these duties or other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices related to sign fabrication and production; mathematics skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages. Skilled in silk screen printing, sheet metal work, operation of silk roll applications, vacuum frames, exposure lamps, and computers. Ability to apply principles to solve practical problems, read blueprints, demonstrate manual dexterity, and maintain accurate records.
Formal education in arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, ruler reading, and percentages. Plus, 3 months of training or experience in sheet metal work and operation of related equipment, industrial safety practices, or sign production. Alternatively, 3 months of training or experience in each of these areas is acceptable.
