Job summary

Scioto Services is seeking a Columbus Library Cleaning Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations for one or more buildings, under the direction of the account manager. You will supervise and train cleaning associates to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include creating weekly schedules, performing routine inspections, timekeeping for 15–20 staff, and acting as a backup for absent workers. A valid driver’s license, 2–3 years supervision, and pre-employment screening are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years supervisory experience.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to train and direct cleaning staff.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash.
• High and low dusting.
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas.
• Maintain employee timekeeping for 15-20 employees.
• Report maintenance issues to the Account Manager.
• Create and follow weekly schedules.
• Train assigned personnel on cleaning methods.
• Provide work direction to personnel under manager guidance.
• Perform routine inspections of cleaning work.

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the account or area manager, the supervisoris responsible for the daily cleaning of one or more buildings, including direct supervision and training of cleaning associates.

Core Responsibilities

• Empty Trash
• High and low dusting
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas
• Maintain employee timekeeping for 15-20 employees
• Report maintenance issues of the facility and/or equipment to the Account Manager
• Responsible for creating and following weekly schedules
• Trainassigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment
• Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager
• Performroutine inspections of work performed by cleaning personnel
• Serve as backup for absent personnel

Other Requirements

• Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance REQUIRED

• Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment.
• Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
