Job Overview

The Facilities Planner will utilize AutoCAD to design and plan projects related to the improvement, repair, or alteration of existing facilities. Responsibilities include preparing design and construction documents, coordinating phased moves, and providing status updates during project implementation. The role requires knowledge of building codes, project management, and facilities planning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 24 months of training or experience in interior space design or facilities planning & design, or related fields; or completion of relevant undergraduate coursework; or 12 months as Space Planner; or equivalent qualifications.

Key Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of agency policies, Ohio building codes, interior design, and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and 3D rendering software.
• Ability to review plans, organize meetings, prioritize tasks, and interpret instructions.

Additional Details

Location: William Green Building, Columbus, OH

Salary Range: $24.66 - $32.08 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
