Job summary

BMA Technical Services, Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced SIEM Content Developer to research and develop new threat detection use cases.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs to identify gaps and tailor signatures for programs and applications. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining scripts, reviewing data feeds, and coordinating with stakeholders to prioritize alerts and protect critical assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience required.
• 3+ years with a SIEM in content development or incident response.
• 3+ years in system and/or network administration.
• Understanding of various log formats and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture and defense-in-depth.

Responsibilities

• Develops new threat detection use cases based on emerging threats and threat intel feedback.
• Creates and maintains scripts to enhance SIEM functionality.
• Reviews data feeds quality and implements improvements.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify critical systems and set alerting priorities and signatures.
