BlockReel is seeking a skilled colorist for an upcoming corporate video project in a remote-friendly setting with local LA consideration. You will color correct and grade interviews, product shots, and B-roll to achieve a polished, cohesive look, working closely with the director and editor to establish and maintain the visual style for a tech startup’s polished, modern aesthetic.

Experience with DaVinci Resolve is preferred; familiarity with other professional grading software is acceptable.

Shooting in Los Angeles the last week of October 2026, we're an independent production seeking a skilled Colorist for an upcoming corporate video project. This project is a series of polished, professional interviews and B-roll for a tech startup, focused on clean aesthetics and a modern, innovative tone. We're looking for someone who can elevate the visuals and ensure a cohesive, high-end look across all assets. Your main responsibilities will include working closely with the director and editor to establish and maintain the desired visual style, color correcting and grading all footage (interviews, product shots, and B-roll), and delivering final graded files in specified formats. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is preferred, but familiarity with other professional grading software is acceptable. Please provide a link to your reel showcasing your color grading work, especially any corporate or commercial projects. We're open to all experience levels; your portfolio speaks for itself. This is a remote-friendly position, though local candidates in Los Angeles are welcome. We anticipate approximately 5-7 days of work, spread out over about two weeks starting in early November 2026, depending on the edit schedule. Compensation is $300-500 per day, negotiable based on experience. We'll provide all the ungraded footage and clear communication from the post-production supervisor.
