Job summary

Beacon Medical Group in northern Indiana seeks a BC/BE Colorectal Surgeon to join a collaborative team of 13 surgeons and GI partners. The role offers a choice between colorectal-dedicated practice or a balanced mix with general surgery, with strong opportunities for research and teaching.

The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained, board certified/eligible and committed to clinical excellence, education, and patient-centered care within a top regional cancer program.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility recognized by ABMS.
• Fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon.
• Commitment to clinical excellence.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Focus practice on colon and rectal surgery with endoscopy and MIS.
• Possibility to mix colorectal and general surgery (60/40) or exclusive colorectal focus.
• Collaborate with GI and other surgical teams.
• Work with 13 surgeons and APPs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and research opportunities.
• Teach residents and medical students within affiliated programs.
