Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Hobart, IN seeks a Colorectal Surgeon to join our expanding Northwest Indiana practice. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule within a premier, tech-forward environment with 1:6 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and surgically treating colon, rectum, and anal disorders, performing colonoscopies/endoscopies, utilizing laparoscopic/robotic techniques, and coordinating pre- and post-operative care, while pursuing board certification and Indiana

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• Clinic patients per day: 20.
• Call Rotation: 1:6.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking.
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions.
