OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, seeks a BC/BE colorectal surgeon to join an established, physician-led health system. The role includes general colorectal surgery, a robust teaching component for the fellowship program, and a mix of clinic, colonoscopy, and OR time.

• Board certification/eligibility in colorectal surgery.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in a physician-led health system is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general colorectal surgical services including hemorrhoid banding, I&D, flex sigs, open, laparoscopic and robotic colectomies.
• Serve as core faculty for colorectal fellowship.
• Participate in 2–3 days of clinic and 1 day of colonoscopies with 1–2 days OR per week.
• Potential for leadership roles including fellowship program director (0.2 FTE) in addition to clinical duties.
• Contribute to a collegial culture with system-wide physician leadership support.

Description

• Join 4 other colorectal surgeons in an established group servicing Grant Medical Center and Riverside Methodist Hospital
• Serve as core faculty for OhioHealth's colorectal fellowship
• General colorectal surgery, hemorrhoid banding, I&D, flexible sigmoidoscopies, open, laparoscopic, and robotic colectomies, etc.
• High Resolution Anoscopy coming soon
• 2-3 days of clinic, 1 day of colonoscopies, 1-2 days OR time per week
• Opportunity for fellowship program director, 0.2 FTE in addition to 1.0 clinical FTE
• Week night call 1:3 rotation, weekend call 1:5 rotation
