Capital Health Medical Group in New Jersey seeks a qualified Colorectal Surgeon to join our team in Trenton and Pennington. The role includes time in the Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and office hours, with outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.

This two-hospital system offers comprehensive colorectal care with a broad referral network and generous compensation with benefits. The position targets 24/7 coverage and a transition toward dedicated colorectal call.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Board eligible or certified in General Surgery.
• Board eligible or certified in Colorectal Surgery.
• Completion of Colorectal Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited) by start date.
• Ability to obtain NJ and PA license with prescriptive privileges.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities in colorectal care.
• Time in Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and office hours.
• General Surgery call 1:6 with goal transitioning to Colorectal Surgery call 1:3.
• Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and center for digestive diseases.

$414,000.00 - $792,000.00

Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon to join our dedicated team. Capital Health serves a diverse patient population across central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. Our two-hospital health system, with locations in urban Trenton and suburban Hopewell, provides care to patients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Our services cater to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric care, ensuring comprehensive medical services across the lifespan.

Opportunity Details

• Colon and Rectal Surgeon
• Pennington, NJ and Trenton, NJ
• Opportunity to hold office hours in off-campus sites in Newtown, PA or Bordentown, NJ
• General Surgery call 1:6 with ultimate goal of transitioning to Colorectal Surgery call 1:3
• General Colorectal, with time in the Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and office hours
• Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities

• 24/7 365 day a year front-line coverage with Surgical PAs who see consults and answer phone calls

• Practice offers a broad range of Colorectal Pathology involving benign and malignant conditions
• Center for Digestive Diseases offers collaborative management of IBD patients
• Cancer Center with national accreditation from the "Commission on Cancer"
• Well-established multidisciplinary tumor board for Colon & Rectal Cancer patients, with full accreditation by NAPRC

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
• Board Eligible or Certified in General Surgery
• Board Eligible or Certified in Colorectal Surgery
• Completion of Colorectal Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited) by the time of start of job
• Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the states of NJ and PA with prescriptive privileges
