The position offers a generous pay range of $414,000 to $792,000 with a strong benefits package and a 1:6 general surgery call, moving toward a 1:3 colorectal call. Offices in Pennington, Trenton, and potential off-campus sites in Newtown, PA or Bordentown, NJ.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Colorectal Surgery required.
• Completion of Colorectal Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited) by start date.

Responsibilities

• Colon and Rectal Surgeon duties in clinical practice.
• Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities at Capital Health Medical Group.
• General Surgery call 1:6 with transition to Colorectal Surgery call 1:3.
• Exposure to Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and office hours.

Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon to join our dedicated team. Capital Health serves a diverse patient population across central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. Our two-hospital health system, with locations in urban Trenton and suburban Hopewell, provides care to patients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Opportunity Details:

• Colon and Rectal Surgeon




• Pennington, NJ and Trenton, NJ




• Opportunity to hold office hours in off-campus sites in Newtown, PA or Bordentown, NJ




• General Surgery call 1:6 with ultimate goal of transitioning to Colorectal Surgery call 1:3




• General Colorectal, with time in the Main OR, Surgery Center, Endoscopy Suite and office hours




• Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities

• 24/7 365 day a year front-line coverage with Surgical PAs who see consults and answer phone calls




• Built in referral network




• Practice offers a broad range of Colorectal Pathology involving benign and malignant conditions




• Center for Digestive Diseases offers collaborative management of IBD patients




• Cancer Center with national accreditation from the \"Commission on Cancer\"




• Well‑established multidisciplinary tumor board for Colon & Rectal Cancer patients, with full accreditation by NAPRC

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine




• Board Eligible or Certified in General Surgery




• Board Eligible or Certified in Colorectal Surgery




• Completion of Colorectal Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited) by the time of start of job




• Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the states of NJ and PA with prescriptive privileges
