Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon for a full-time role in Hobart, Indiana. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with 1:6 call, relocation assistance, and a supportive, tech-forward environment including EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

You will diagnose and surgically treat colon, rectum, and anus disorders, perform colonoscopies, and participate in a 1:6 on-call rotation while pursuing board certification and Indiana licensure.

Qualifications

• Board certification or clear plan for certification within a defined timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-supported documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with specialists.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• Clinic patients per day: 20.
• Call Rotation: 1:6.
• Pre-operative assessments and evidence-based treatment plans.
• Post-operative follow-up and outcome tracking.
• Minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic/robotic surgery.
• Perform colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
• Clinic patients per day: 20
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
