Job summary

The Walsh Group is offering internships in our Colorado Region to prepare you for leadership roles on or off the jobsite. Interns will gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management by working on jobsites or in the office within estimating and preconstruction teams.

Responsibilities include assisting with project coordination, bid solicitation, scheduling, safety management, and documentation. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and relocation may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Willing to relocate for specific roles.
• Able to commit to a 12-week work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimating cost for change orders
• Soliciting bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Document control
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Safety management
• Participation in team meetings
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders
