Job Summary

The Color Technician is responsible for ensuring that bulk cosmetic batches accurately match the shade of reference standards. This role supports manufacturing operations and does not involve research & development activities.

What You Will Do

• Batch shade matching lipstick, foundation, powders and other color cosmetics.
• Provide accurate review of batch color history and tracking of daily adjustments.
• Maintain color standards and renewals upon expiration.
• Make bench batches as necessary to support full‑scale batch shade matching and rework shade investigation.
• Communicate with Manufacturing, Quality Control, R&D and customers as necessary.

Who You Are

• Can multitask in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and support multiple batches at the same time.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have 3 years of cosmetic shade matching experience or 5+ years in a related chemical or paint industry.
• Have the ability to see color.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Have knowledge of basic math.
• Have excellent organizational skills.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have basic understanding of GMP and ISO requirements.
