Job summary

Wurth Wood Group seeks a Color Lab Technician to support color matching stains, paints and glazes. You will work with the Lacquer Specialist, follow directions, and help pull lacquer orders onto trucks while delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mixing and matching stains and pigmented lacquers.
• Perform quality control checks for outgoing tinted items.
• Maintain color development records as per Tint Station Manual.
• Stock items and support Lacquer Specialist and Sales Team.
• Pull, catalyze, shake and stage truck orders for Finish.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Log pour-offs of bad material and dispose properly.
• Perform other duties as required.

A Color Lab Technician provides customer service in the form of color matching stains/paints/glazes. Will work alongside the Lacquer Specialist and follow their direction. The Tint Specialist will also be responsible for making sure the Lacquer orders get pulled and put on the trucks properly. • Perform required quality control checks for all outgoing tinted items
• Maintain in-depth and detailed records of colors developed as outlined in the Tint Station Operations Manual
• Stocking Items
• Supporting Lacquer Specialist and Sales Team

• Keep accurate log of any pour offs of bad material and deposit into the waste drum and keep it labeled appropriately
• Perform other duties as required and assigned
