Job summary

You will supervise color guard activities, participate in all practices and competitions, collaborate with middle and high schools for transitions, and help present marching programs while promoting academic excellence within the color guard class.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• First Aid training concepts and injury prevention knowledge.
• Willingness to devote time before and after school hours.
• Experience participating in a color guard program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in all practices, games, and competitions.
• Supervise all color guard activities.
• Advocate for the color guard program in school and community.
• Facilitate transition from Middle School to High School Color Guard program.
• Aid in presenting marching programs at home and away sites, if applicable.
• Emphasize academic excellence with color guard class.
• Implement program policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Administrator and/or designee.
