SKIMS in Los Angeles is seeking a Color Development Manager to lead the end-to-end color program across product categories. You will translate design direction into production-ready color standards and collaborate with Design, Materials, and Production teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in color development within apparel, strong technical color knowledge, and excellent organization and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or related field.
• 5+ years in color development or related apparel function.
• Strong knowledge of textile color development, dyeing processes, fabric construction.
• Experience evaluating lab dips, strike-offs, yarn dyes, prints, trims, and bulk color.
• Proficiency with color measurement tools and color management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seasonal color development from standards to bulk approval.
• Translate color direction into production standards across fabrics and trims.
• Review lab dips, strike-offs, yarn dyes, and color submissions for accuracy.
• Provide actionable color feedback to mills and vendors.
• Ensure color consistency across materials and locations.
• Identify color risks and propose feasible solutions.
• Maintain color standards and communicate across teams.
