Job summary

Engineered Floors, LLC seeks an Operator to extrude pellets in the color compound department and support daily operations to achieve high quality, efficiency, and low-cost productivity.

Responsibilities include setting up machines by specification, feeding component material, and filling process sheets. You will monitor for contamination, review Maguire setups, and maintain equipment with PPE and LTO certification. Flexibility in hours is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull component material and set up on machine per specs.
• Quality control will provide process specification.
• Operator is responsible for ensuring the machine is set up correctly.
• Feed the component material through the color compound machine.
• Responsible for loading the pellet bin.
• Fill out all process specification sheets for the lines.
• Monitor all side barrels for contamination.
• Monitor shakers and bins for uncut pellets.
• Review all Maguire setups.
• Monitor lines for breakouts.
• Rerun all side barrels with color.
• Clean area and wipe down lines and Maguire's.
• Other duties assigned by management.
• Keep supervisor informed of equipment issues or concerns.
