Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co is seeking a 3rd shift production operator responsible for batch formulation, mixing materials, color matching/tinting, and ensuring quality in finished product processing. The role requires adhering to safety guidelines, maintaining clean work areas, and coordinating with Central Labs for proper dispersion and transfer to tanks.

The position involves following batch formulas, using spectrophotometer/color matching expertise, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet

Qualifications

High School degree required.
Basic math skills, i.e. addition/subtraction.
Ability to accurately match color specifications.
Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Follow safety guidelines and environmental/regulatory rules; use required safety equipment.
Maintain quality and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
Follow batch formulations and add approved materials for proper dispersion.
Mix materials and perform quality checks for dispersion approval and transfer to the next step.
Ensure batches are transferred to scheduled tanks for thinning and color matching/tinting.
Communicate with other departments during production for proper coordination of batch processing.
May operate additional equipment and check filters as needed.
Willingness to cross-train in other departments and work overtime/weekends when required.
