Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery seeks a colorectal surgeon to join our established group across the MGB system. Eligible candidates have completed general surgery residency and fellowship in colorectal surgery; MD or MD/PhD; board certified or eligible by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colorectal Surgery.

Appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School will reflect experience; licensure

Qualifications

• Completion of general surgery residency and fellowship in colorectal surgery.
• MD or MD/PhD with ABOS and ABCRS boards (certified or eligible).
• Eligible for full medical licensure in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide colorectal surgical care across the MGB system.
• Supervise and teach medical students and surgical trainees.
• Engage in academic activities and collaborative research.

Job description

The Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery at Mass General Brigham is seeking to recruit a colorectal surgeon, with broad range of interest in the field, to join our established group across the MGB system.

Eligible candidates must have completed a general surgery residency training program and fellowship training in colorectal surgery. Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD/PhD and be board certified/eligible from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colorectal Surgery.

Appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, academic achievements and teaching contributions. The candidate should be eligible for, and maintain, full medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Our surgeons provide outstanding clinical care in a highly collaborative and academic work environment that includes supervising and teaching medical students and surgical trainees.
