Job summary

Village Ford in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Ford Certified Collision Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience and a strong background in collision repair, including repairing damaged parts and coordinating with the parts department to secure needed components.

You will document all repairs, maintain a clean work area, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Ford Certification is required or preferred.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a Ford dealership is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts.
• Communicate status of repairs to body shop manager.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Document all repairs performed.
• Document all materials used.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous waste.
