What To Expect
Tesla Collision is seeking an energetic professional with a proven record of managing people and processes to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. The Collision Center Supervisor is the leader of our collision shop floor teams. In this role, you will be responsible for leading an engaged team of Technicians while delivering an impeccable service experience through driving excellent results and operational efficiency in our Collision Centers. This position requires a clear understanding of production systems and collision shop workflow, utilizing critical thought processes and root cause analysis.
Shift: 3:00PM - 2:00AM, Monday - Thursday
What You'll Do
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to technical employees to achieve quality and service goals. Maintain shop records and inventories. Manage work flow in the Collision Center.
- Serve as process leader, ensuring work standards are defined and improved with input from Technicians and team members. Lead, coach, and develop Technicians.
- Ensure work standards and procedures are current, accurate, and compliant, ensuring maximum quality. Monitor safety regulations and safety program adherence.
- Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel issues. Schedule staff to meet repair needs and manage time off according to company policies.
- Select team members and ensure they receive necessary training. Conduct regular developmental meetings and coordinate training needs.
- Maintain effective daily communication to align team goals. Communicate issues affecting the service center and organization.
- Partner with Collision Manager to scale and grow shop production, supporting company targets. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- 7-10 years collision technical experience preferred.
- Leadership experience in a collision industry preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and lead root cause analysis activities.
- Effective interaction with customers as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 1-3 years supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of repair estimates.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
