Job summary

Classic Collision Corporate Services LLC in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to join our team. You will disassemble vehicles, identify repairs, and help create a complete repair plan to restore safety and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist estimators and prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work per work order for all operations.
• Remove upholstery and access damaged area; store parts safely.
• Repair body by hammering/welding; ensure fit and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools including welder, torch, grinders.
• File, grind and sand surfaces before handing to Paint dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety/quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules and guidelines.
