Art City Auto Body in Orem, UT is seeking an experienced Body Technician to repair collision-damaged vehicles to factory and industry standards. You will work closely with estimators, production staff, and painters to meet repair timelines and uphold safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with vehicle construction, frame and measuring equipment, reading repair orders, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive Body Technician in collision repair.
• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and estimates.
• I-CAR, ASE, OEM certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and non-structural repairs on collision-damaged vehicles.

• Finish metal work, panel alignment, and prep.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural and non-structural repairs on collision-damaged vehicles.
• Repair or replace damaged body panels, frames, and related components.
• Complete metal finishing, panel alignment, and body preparation work.
• Review repair plans and ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize measuring and diagnostic equipment to verify proper vehicle alignment.
• Work collaboratively with estimators, production staff, and painters to achieve repair timelines.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and all shop safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the repair process.
