Job summary

Liberty Ford Vermilion is seeking a motivated Body Shop Technician to join our collision repair team. The role involves repairing and aligning damaged panels, using welding and frame equipment, and preparing vehicles for refinishing in a deadline-driven environment.

You will work with estimators and painters to ensure high-quality workmanship, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to safety standards. Prior collision repair experience is preferred, with certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in body shop or collision repair environments.
• Knowledge of repairing structural and non-structural damage preferred.
• Frame machines, welding equipment and repair tools experience is a plus.
• I-CAR and ASE certifications are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repair on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Repair, replace, and align damaged body panels and components.
• Use welding, measuring, and straightening equipment safely and accurately.
• Prepare vehicles for paint and refinishing.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Communicate with estimators, painters, and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
