Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Collision Repair Shop Assistant to support parts, yard, and shop operations. Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm, located at 8820 Corridor Road.

You will move vehicles, organize parts, assist with cleaning, and help maintain safety and efficiency. The role offers training and a path toward becoming a parts coordinator or technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift certification a plus (training provided onsite).
• Prior shop, warehouse, or automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Must be reliable and willing to learn and contribute.
• Demonstrates teamwork, initiative, and readiness to grow into additional technical skills over time.

Responsabilités

• Unpack, sort, and move parts to proper work areas while maintaining safety and order.
• Assist with returns and packaging cleanup, including breaking down boxes and preparing items.
• Maintain organization of the parts room and shop stock.
• Stage next units for repair with required parts and vehicles ready.
• Safely move vehicles in/out of yard and organize the yard.
• Transport units, including occasional offsite pickups or deliveries.
• Perform daily cleaning of floors, tools, and work areas.
• Operate forklifts, carts, and man lifts as certified.
• Follow OSHA and Penske safety standards including PPE use.
• Communicate task status and safety concerns with team.
