Job summary

Asbury is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to appraise vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates for insurance claims and customer repairs. You will interact with insurance adjusters and customers to ensure quality outcomes while maintaining satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage and cost of repair.
• Develop and prepare repair estimates including parts, labor, and deductibles.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to obtain and review estimates.
• Prepare work orders describing repair services and obtain approvals.
• Explain estimates to customers to maintain rapport and satisfaction.
• Monitor repairs for quality and minimize comebacks.
• Document repair actions and maintain shop records.
