Job summary

VIVE Collision is seeking a Disassembly Technician to disassemble vehicles, inspect for hidden damage, and document all findings to support precise repair planning. You will work with the Production Manager to communicate extra damage and parts needs, assist with reassembly, and perform light repairs as required.

The role requires 18+years, 1 year of body repair experience, a valid driver's license and clean MVR, plus high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Minimum 1 year body repair experience.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR required.
High school diploma or GED required; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification preferred.
I-CAR and OEM training preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read repair orders, estimates, and work instructions.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Disassemble vehicles and inspect for structural and hidden damage.
Document all damage, required parts, blend panels, moldings, clips, and one-time-use fasteners.
Communicate supplemental damage and parts needed to the Production Manager/Estimator.
Assist with vehicle reassembly as needed.
Perform light non-structural repairs including sanding, finishing, and minor bumper repairs.
Reinstall moldings, trims, and finishing components.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
Occasionally move or operate vehicles within the shop as needed.
