Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Refinish Prepper in Hudsonville, MI. The role focuses on surface prep, masking and applying primers and coatings to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• Experience with surface preparation, masking, priming and coating processes.
• Knowledge of primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats and clear coats.
• Familiarity with refinish quality standards and insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Restore anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, product mixing and application.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job.
• Prepare vehicles to restore pre-accident condition; sand, mask, prime and refinish per guidelines.
