Gerber Collision & Glass, part of The Boyd Group, is seeking a Porter to support vehicle prep and shop cleanliness. You will pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs, and perform interior and exterior cleanup after repairs are completed, ensuring a high standard of presentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to multitask in a busy shop environment. 18+ and automotive experience are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan execution.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of interior of office, including trash, floors, countertops and work area.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of interior production area, waste bins, floors, dispose of vehicle parts, and store tools/equipment.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description: The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
