Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Cleburne, Texas is seeking a Porter with prior automotive detailing/porter duties preferred. You will support repair quality by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining shop and office cleanliness. A high attention to detail and reliability are essential.

The role includes pre-washes prior to repairs, post-repair cleaning, and light vehicle transport between locations. This is an on-site position requiring 18+ and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily office and production area housekeeping, including garbage, floors, and countertops.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly; shovel sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
