Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager for the Huntsville collision center. The role oversees daily operations, drives key performance metrics, and leads a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include budget management, staff coaching, safety compliance, and weekly production reviews, ensuring top-tier service and efficient operations. A post-secondary education or equivalent and leadership experience in collision repair are preferred.

• Ability to motivate others using effective coaching tools.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Deliver formal and informal performance reviews.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable for the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean, organized repair facility and ensure safety.

You control your future.Job Description:The General Manager’s primary responsibility and accountability includes providing an exceptional and successful customer experience while leading and maintaining the day-to-day operation of the Store in compliance with established policies and procedures. The General Manager plans and implements the daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure that overall KPI’s and insurance metrics are met. They are responsible to coach and empower each team member’s performance and success in their individual roles. The General Manager will promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers, and the General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members. General Managers are committed to leading by example at all times.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint boothProvide training for all staff as necessaryEnsure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery datesManage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards. Manage store capacity.Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings .
