Job summary
MAC Incorporated in New Britain, CT is seeking an Estimator to write estimates for collision repairs, manage DRP processes, and guide vehicles through delivery with clear customer communication. The role requires experience with estimating software and strong attention to detail.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years in collision estimating, a valid driver’s license, and licensure as a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser. Fast-paced shop experience and sales capability are valued.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for company insurance.
- Must possess a Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License.
- Experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software.
- Advance understanding of the repair process/procedures.
Responsibilities
- Write estimates for DRP and vehicle repairs.
- Conduct process reviews and finalize DRP paperwork.
- Communicate vehicle status updates to customers and complete final invoicing.
- Assist with total loss administration and post-repair communication.
