Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Estimator in New York to deliver accurate estimates, coordinate repair needs, and ensure compliance with insurance and company processes.

You will document customer interactions, guide customers through the repair process, and maintain compliance with DRP minimum requirements while supporting the team in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 1-year experience; basic computer skills.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Compliance with DRP minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with accurate details.

• Greet customers in person and by phone with positive energy.

Job Overview

We are seeking an Estimator who provides an exceptional customer experience by creating accurate estimates, coordinating repair needs, and ensuring compliance with insurance and company processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction, update details efficiently and accurately.
• Provide customers with accurate, timely information and guide them through the repair process, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
• Adhere to all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop‑offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members.
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and on the phone.
• Understand all required insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team as required.
• Support all team members when needed.
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings if required.
• Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 1‑year experience, basic computer skills, and awareness of where to look for answers.

• Must be willing to complete I‑CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Compliance with DRP minimum requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of repairs and OEM guidelines.
• Basic computer skills.
• Awareness of where to find answers and compliance with DRP minimum requirements.
• Minimum 1‑year experience in a related field.

Compensation

Estimated annual salary: $48,000 – $69,000. In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than the local or state minimum wage, grossed hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
