Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Amarillo, TX is hiring an Estimator to deliver exceptional customer experiences while creating accurate estimates and coordinating repairs. The role requires DRP estimating experience and CCC1/Mitchell proficiency, plus AR/AP familiarity and a strong focus on customer service.

You will communicate with customers and insurance companies, document interactions, and work with the team to meet KPI targets while adhering to all company procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years DRP estimating experience required.
• 2+ years with CCC1/Mitchell software experience.
• 2+ years with accounts receivable/payable experience preferred.
• 4+ years of customer service excellence required.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction accurately and update details.
• Provide timely information and guide customers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance processes and metrics.
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for drops, planning, and communication.
• Communicate customer requests to the team and maintain positive energy.
• Understand insurance programs and participate in daily production walks.
• Support team members and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Attend training sessions and workshops as required.

Job Description: Gerber Collision & Glass - I-40, Amarillo, TX

• 2 Yrs minimum Collision DRP Estimating experience required
• 2 Yrs + prior CCC1 / Mitchell experience
• 2 Yrs + prior Accounts Receivables/Payables experience preferred
• 4 Yrs + prior customer service excellence required

The Estimator's primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer's experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily "production walks" with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP's Minimum of 1-year experience
