Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a candidate in Abilene, TX with 2+ years in collision DRP estimating and related experience. The role requires CCC1/Mitchell knowledge, AR/AP experience, and strong customer service skills.

You will support daily operations, ensure accurate documentation, and help guide customers through repairs. The position emphasizes insurance program familiarity, team collaboration, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DRP processes and insurance guidelines.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in DRP or related field.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction accurately with relevant details.
• Provide customers with timely information and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements and processes.
• Follow WOW operating procedures for customer drop-offs and communication.
• Relay customer requests to appropriate team members and maintain positive tone.
• Understand insurance programs and procedures applicable to cases.
• Participate in daily production walks with management as required.
• Support team members and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Attend training sessions and workshops as recommended by Store Manager.

Job Description:

Gerber Collision & Glass - Clack, Abilene, TX 2 Yrs minimum Collision DRP Estimating experience required 2 Yrs + prior CCC1 / Mitchell experience 2 Yrs + prior Accounts Receivables/Payables experience preferred 4 Yrs + prior customer service excellence required

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

Compensation Details:

Estimated $70,000 - $120,000+ / Year In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay:

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives. Commissions are calculated based on location, revenue metrics, sales, and individual performance; subject to the terms of the plan.
