Job description

Description

As a body shop technician, you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing damaged vehicles. Some tasks involved are disassembling/ assembling vehicles, and repairing vehicle scratches, dents, holes, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
  2. De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicles with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  3. Prepare vehicles for body repair work
  4. Notify management of any additional repairs needed and document any additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair
  5. Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised completion date
  6. Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
  7. Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles as needed
  8. Must comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA
  9. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
  10. Maintain a clean work area
  11. Other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  1. You are at least 18 years old.
  2. You have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

  5. You understand that the 401K company match has an annual maximum amount.
  6. You understand that earned vacation time is based on the total time of continual employment.
