Job summary

Crown Collision Center in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical damage on vehicles and perform specialized repairs. The role requires strong technical capabilities and adherence to safety standards.

Two to five years of mechanical/technical experience is preferred; ASE certifications are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required. We offer paid training and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles per estimate and manufacturer standards.
• Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered/received.
• Notify estimator/management of any changes or issues.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Maintain safety equipment and comply with hazardous materials regulations.
• Keep the shop area neat and organized.
• Safely operate all tools and equipment.
