Job summary

Precision Toyota of Tucson is seeking an experienced Collision Center Detailer to finalize vehicles after repairs, ensuring pristine appearance before delivery. You will wet sand, polish, and blend paint to factory finish, while performing a thorough final inspection and reporting any issues to technicians.

Responsibilities include removing overspray, prepping interiors and exteriors, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Proven detailing experience in a collision center, body shop or paint environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Able to work efficiently and meet repair-cycle deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel and lift.

• Wet sand, compound, buff and polish newly refinished paint to remove dust nibs, overspray and surface imperfections.
• Blend and polish repaired areas to match the surrounding factory finish.
• Remove overspray, masking residue, sanding dust and compound from glass, trim, moldings, door jambs and interiors.
• Clean and dress engine bays, wheels, tires and jambs after repairs.
• Do a final quality inspection and report any paint or body problems to technicians before delivery.
• Keep tools, equipment, chemicals and work areas clean, organized and safe.
• Move vehicles safely around the shop and lot as needed.

Precision Toyota of Tucson is looking for an experienced Collision Center Detailer to join our team. This role is the last step before a repaired vehicle goes back to its owner, and it makes sure every car looks like it never left the factory. If you have paint and body detailing experience and take pride in quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
