Michael Bates Chevrolet in Woodhaven, MI is seeking an experienced Collision Technician to perform collision and body repair with no paint responsibilities. Pay is $27–$31 per flagged hour, contingent on experience, with a flat-rate pay type and bi-weekly pay schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collision/body shop repair experience.
• State of Michigan certification required.
• Must have your own professional tools.
• DVI experience preferred but not required.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair collision-damaged vehicles and restore body components to professional standards.
• Repair or replace damaged vehicle body components as needed.
• Identify necessary collision repairs and required parts.
• Complete body repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with the body shop and dealership team throughout the repair process.
• Inspect completed work for quality and proper repair.
• Focus exclusively on collision and body repair; this position does not include paint work.
