A growing auto body repair company in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join their brand-new facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing paint procedures, communicating effectively within the team, and ensuring high-quality repairs. With excellent benefits and a busy work environment, this role is ideal for outgoing individuals with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years minimum of auto body painter experience required.
• Paint Certification, I-Car and Manufacturer a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete prep / paint procedures.
• Communicate with body shop manager and parts department.
• Execute repair procedures based on estimates timeframe.
• Maintain communication with collision center team.
• Execute repair procedures within estimates timeframe.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Flexibility with days and hours in high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Complete prep / paint procedures
• Communicate with body shop manager and parts department through all collision repairs.
• Ability to work with a variety of materials, along with paint process, ability to work with steel, aluminum and plastic.
• Maintain communication with entire collision center/dealership associates throughout the day.
• Execute repair procedures and protocols in a timely manner based on estimates timeframe.
• Perform any other work-related duties assigned by his/her supervisor.
• Flexibility with days and hours in times of high volume.

Qualifications

• Paint Certification, I-Car and Manufacturer a plus.
• Able to make independent decisions on repair process, parts and timing.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, etc. required to perform the job in a safe and proper manner.
• Maintain an energetic, positive attitude and work well with others.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
