Job summary

BinTech Group in McLean, VA seeks a Collibra developer to implement data governance, metadata, and quality solutions. You will translate business requirements into technical Collibra artifacts and integrate with data sources using MuleSoft and AWS.

The role requires hands-on Collibra expertise, MuleSoft Anypoint, AWS, Python/Java, SQL, and Scrum experience, with a focus on delivering end-to-end governance and API interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Collibra DGC/EDGE/DQ and workflows.
• 3+ years MuleSoft Anypoint integration.
• 3+ years AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
• 2+ years Python, Java, and Unix.
• 3+ years SQL experience.
• Experience with Scrum and JIRA.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Collibra DGC, DQ, workflows and lineage components.
• Provide SDLC/Agile support and production issue resolution.

Job description

• Understand the strategic direction of product and deliver value with effective development techniques.
• Work with business SMEs and identified project partners to develop requirements (functional/non-functional/operational/data quality) for Data Governance, Metadata, Data Quality and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement end to end metadata, lineage, and data governance solution.
• Contribute to and lead both recurring and ad-hoc development tasks within the Data Quality, Accuracy and Completeness Management capabilities.
• Contribute to Data Quality, Accuracy and Completeness program- related analysis, status, metrics and milestone tracking, strategic planning, and roadmap contribution in addition to development and production support needs.
• Design and develop integration capabilities between Collibra and various data sources/systems including on-premises and AWS cloud environments using MuleSoft Any Point studio and Collibra APIs ensuring Collibra is a central governing mechanism.
• Develop application interface via APIs.
• Create and configure Collibra DGC meta-model, assets, relationships, domains and communities.
• Implementation of Collibra DGC, Collibra DQ, Workflows, lineage and related components.
• Support all phases of the project development lifecycle using SDLC and Agile project methodologies.
• Provide production support, solve and resolve systems issues.
• Basic Requirements:
• 3+ years of current and hands on experience with Collibra DGC, Collibra EDGE and Collibra DQ products including workflow development.
• 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft Any point integration platform,
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS Services including but not limited to ELB, EC2, RDS, Kubernetes, S3, SQS, Secrets Manager, KMS, IAM and Autoscaling
• 2+ years of experience working with Python, Java and Unix
• 3+ years of experience working with database SQLs,
• Experience working with Scrum and JIRA
• Proven leadership skills, problem solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
