Job summary

Ferguson-Florissant School District seeks three Seminar Instructors to run the Early College/Dual Enrollment summer program, partnering with STLCC. You will design immersive experiences, use ICAPs to map student futures, and collaborate with a team of instructors to ensure a rigorous and equitable pathway to college readiness.

You will align with FFSD’s mission, manage a defined 11-day schedule, and support students in preparing for collegiate-level writing and inquiry while visiting STLCC

Qualifications

• Current FFSD staff member with at least 3 years of successful experience in a high school environment.
• Valid MO DESE Math or ELA Certification is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred and eligibility to teach dual credit with STLCC.
• Committed to promoting dual enrollment access for all students.
• Strong relational leadership to engage students in a short summer seminar.

Responsibilities

• Use ICAPs to create personalized roadmaps for student success.
• Guide STLCC enrollment process and pathway options.
• Deliver college-level writing, inquiry, and organization instruction.
• Lead an on-campus STLCC visit to showcase resources and environment.
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure a high-quality program.
