Bergen Community College invites applications for an NJ Licensed Athletic Trainer to oversee athletic health care for intercollegiate teams in Paramus, NJ. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive athletic training program including prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care for student-athletes.

The successful candidate will hold NJ licensure, maintain CPR/ECC certification, and support coaching staff with conditioning and daily

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and CAATE-education standards followed; NJ licensure required.
• CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care certification required; state licensure maintained.
• Strong interpersonal skills, IT literacy, and ability to collaborate across college constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee athletic health care for collegiate teams and coordinate athletic training program activities.
• Provide first aid, injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and physician referrals as needed.
• Cover home events and practices from fall to spring; manage inventory, equipment, and budget planning.
