Responsibilities

Assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer with day-to-day operations of the athletic training room.
Provide treatment and care to injured athletes.
Serve as liaison between team physicians, athletic administrators and coaches.
Maintain comprehensive medical documentation.
Assist with institutional drug testing programs, game/event coverage and team travel.
Collaborate with assistant athletic trainers and supervise work-study students.
Assist with processing of secondary insurance claims.
Assist with pre-participation health screens.
