Job summary

Alma College is seeking a part-time recruiting assistant to support the head men’s wrestling coach with recruiting efforts for the intercollegiate program. Responsibilities include outreach to recruits, evaluating athletes, attending camps, and promoting the program within the community while complying with NCAA and conference rules.

Office hours include evenings and weekends with travel as needed; successful candidates will have collegiate level playing or coaching experience and a valid

Qualifications

• Collegiate playing or coaching experience is required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Initial outreach to recruits and high school coaches.
• Assist in the recruiting plan and evaluate/recruit qualified student athletes.
• Travel to recruit student athletes.
• Adhere to NCAA, college and conference rules with integrity.
• Represent the college positively with community, alumni, coaches and media.
• Support the philosophy and mission of Alma College and athletics.
• Develop student-athletes as contributing campus/community members.
• Other duties as assigned by head coach or athletic director.
