Job summary

The Alaska Department of Fish & Game in Fairbanks is seeking a College Intern 1 to support data entry, field coordination, and outreach activities. You will gain proficiency in WinfoNet, assist in harvest data entry, map coding, verify harvest reports, and support Wildlife Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Gain proficiency in Wildlife Information Network (WinfoNet).
• Maintain high-quality standards for harvest data entry and management.
• Assist in coding hunt locations using Uniform Coding Unit (UCU) maps.
• Verify harvest reports through outreach to hunters.
• Support Wildlife Technicians with various duties and projects.
