Help protect Vanguard and our investors through a career in cybersecurity and risk. As a Risk & Security Analyst intern in Vanguard’s College to Corporate (C2C) Internship Program, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting the teams that safeguard our systems, data, and clients.

This immersive internship combines real‑world project work, mentorship, and structured development to help you build technical, analytical, and business skills while developing foundational leadership capabilities in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

In this internship you will:

• Support efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks
• Analyze potential threats, vulnerabilities, and fraud‑related activity
• Assist in developing reports, dashboards, or insights that support risk‑informed decision‑making
• Partner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processes
• Gain exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, risk management practices, and digital ethics

What it takes:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk, or a related field
• Interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail
• Curiosity about how systems can be protected and improved
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred

Additional Information:

• This is a full‑time, paid 10‑week summer internship
