Job summary

Babson College seeks a Speech Consultant to conduct one-on-one coaching, small group sessions, and classroom lectures to develop presentation skills among students and faculty. The role involves creating workshops and supporting various Babson programs with new services and personal branding strategies.

Positions are temporary by semester with hours that may include nights and weekends. Compensation is paid hourly, with pay examples provided for 52 and 104 hours per semester, and authorization

Qualifications

• Requires a master's degree, preferably a PhD or EDD, 2-3 years of college teaching experience and/or equivalent with business communication coaching experience.
• Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks and take thoughtful risks.
• Flexible and willing to assume new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in specific classes for developing individual and group presentation skills.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching and tutoring sessions.
• Deliver classroom lectures and workshops for Babson programs.
• Assist faculty and staff with classroom needs and program requirements.
