Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking a College Liaison to advance marketing of programs and career opportunities. The Recruitment Liaison will engage program leadership, referral sources and business partners to meet enrollment and staffing goals.

This role monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities. The position involves developing partnerships, promoting events, and building a pipeline of talent through universities, colleges, and Vo-techs, including internship programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5 years outside sales experience OR an Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate marketing activities into enrollment or staffing outcomes.
• Prior experience with grassroots marketing and ability to build relationships.
• High attention to detail with fact-based recommendations and decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current driver’s license and willingness to travel for business using own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with service delivery professionals and referral sources to grow existing business and identify new opportunities.
• Promote programs and employment opportunities at community events.
• Assist Marketing, Recruitment and Program leadership with grassroots marketing to achieve enrollment and recruitment goals.
• Build a strong employer brand within the community.
• Drive program growth through strategic marketing at events and campus outreach.
• Market opportunities to universities, colleges, Vo-techs and other educational institutions to create a talent pipeline.
• Create internship programs (paid and unpaid) with educational institutions.
• Contact university career counselors and provide internship and job information.
• Assist with hosting in-house career days for students and graduates.
• Represent Lifesteps at career fairs and colleges with presentations and student interaction.
• Promote the organization's opportunities to alumni communities.
• Report recruiting metrics after events (attendees, interviews, hires).
• Source potential candidates and promote Lifesteps on social media.
